**Deputy Manager Hydel - Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager specializing in Hydel (Hydroelectric) Power to join our dynamic team at the Energy Department. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-accredited institution. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's degree in a relevant field.

**Qualifications:**

- **Educational Background:** Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.

- **Professional Certification:** All degrees must be recognized and attested by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

**Experience:**

- **Industry Expertise:** At least 7 years of experience in the operational management and maintenance of hydroelectric power plants. This includes roles in testing, commissioning, and installation.

- **Additional Skills:** Experience in negotiating power purchase agreements, tariff determinations, and interactions with Power Purchasers and other governmental agencies is required.

- **Travel Requirements:** Must be willing to travel to various power plant locations across Pakistan and ensure consistent, timely reporting to the headquarters.
